USEFP is inviting applications for the 2025 Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program, a chance for people in the middle of their careers to grow in the United States. This program involves learning at a higher level without getting a degree and working in a relevant job for about 10-12 months.

The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) is happy to share about the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program. It’s for people with 5-15 years of work experience. During the program, they’ll study and work in the U.S. USEFP wants them to not just focus on studies but also share their experiences about life in Pakistan with their American colleagues and community groups.

When they come back to Pakistan, the program hopes these folks will share what they’ve learned with their colleagues and communities. Successful candidates are those who are ready to take on leadership roles in their fields and are committed to coming back to serve in Pakistan. Eligibility criteria

Eligibility Criteria for the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program:

1. Citizenship and Residency:
   • Applicants must be Pakistani citizens residing and working in Pakistan throughout the fellowship process.
2. Work Experience:
   • Prospective participants should possess a minimum of five years of progressively responsible professional/work experience.
3. Educational Background:
   • Applicants are required to have completed 16 years of formal education.
4. Re-Employment Commitment:
   • A commitment to re-employment upon return to Pakistan is mandatory for all applicants.
5. English Proficiency:
   • Proficiency in spoken and written English at a high level is a crucial requirement.
6. Exclusion Criteria:
   • University teachers or researchers without management experience are ineligible.
   • Individuals who attended graduate school in the U.S. in the past seven years are not eligible.
   • Those with long-term U.S. experience within the past five years are excluded.
   • Persons with dual U.S./Pakistan nationality or close ties to the U.S. are ineligible.
   • Employees or contractors of the Fulbright organization, the U.S. Department of State, or USAID, along with their spouses, children, siblings, dependents, and parents, are also ineligible.
