Eligible Candidates:

The Dalda Foundation Professional Scholarship opportunity is open to students who have successfully passed their matriculation exams in the year 2023. It is specifically designed for intermediate students enrolled in the following categories:

1. Government Colleges.
2. Government-affiliated colleges in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
3. Technical Colleges.
4. Other accredited institutions.

Fields of Study: (Applicable for Admissions in the Academic Year 2023-2024)

Aspiring students in the intermediate level who wish to pursue studies in the following fields are eligible for the Dalda Foundation Professional Scholarship:

1. Engineering
2. Medicine
3. Agriculture
4. Hotel Management
5. Maritime Sciences
6. Business
7. Information Technology
8. And other relevant fields.

Dalda Foundation recognizes the increasing demand for certain fields in the foreseeable future. Therefore, students opting for these fields will receive enhanced concessions in aptitude tests.

Eligibility Criteria for Dalda Foundation Professional Scholarship :

To qualify for the Dalda Foundation Professional Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum academic requirement: Successful completion of matriculation with at least:
  • Pre-Engineering: 80% or above
  • Pre-Medical: 80% or above
  • General Science: 80% or above
  • Commerce: 75% or above
  • ICS: 70% or above
  • Arts: 70% or above
  • Home Economics: 70% or above
  • DAE: 70% or above
• The candidate’s guardian’s monthly income should not exceed PKR 40,000.
• Citizenship: Open to citizens of Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and those residing anywhere in Pakistan.
• Age: Applicants should not be older than 19 years as of the application deadline.
• Residence: The total area of the applicant’s residence should not exceed 120 square yards or 1080 square feet or the equivalent. (Urban areas are exempt from this condition).
• Ongoing Education: Students who completed matriculation in 2023 and are currently enrolled in intermediate are eligible to apply. Additionally, students who have finished their O levels and are presently in the first year of intermediate in any government college across Pakistan can apply. Applicants will undergo background checks upon clearing the aptitude test to determine their eligibility.

Requirements:

The selection process is merit-based and involves an aptitude test followed by an interview with the applicant’s parents/guardian. Applicants will be notified of their application status upon the completion of this process. The Dalda Foundation Professional Scholarship application may be rejected if the applicant fails to meet the required criteria, does not appear for the assessment tests, or is involved in unethical conduct.

Special consideration will be given to children of employees of Dalda Foods and its subsidiaries.

International Scholarships:

Dalda Foundation Trust also offers assistance to students seeking higher education abroad by providing information about international scholarships and aiding in standardized test preparation.

Important Note:

Attempts to influence the Scholarship Committee may result in disqualification, even if the candidate meets the eligibility criteria.
