Subject: Environmental and Animal Welfare Issues at Tolenton Market and the Surrounding Areas: Concerns and Solutions

Greetings, Editor !

As a fifth-grader at Crescent Model and Secondary School, We three are writing on behalf of our classmates to draw attention to the issues we seen in our surroundin specially in Tolenton Market. Protecting life on land is the subject of Sustainable Development Goal 15, which is in line with our findings. We recently visited Tolenton Market Lahore and observed poor treatment given to the animals housed there. Many animals had clear symptoms of discomfort and distress as a result of being housed in tiny, dirty cages with little food and water. These animals are harmed by such circumstances, which require urgent care.

In addition, there are environmental issues in a number of places near our school. Streets and open areas are littered with waste, which pollutes the area and leaves stray animals without a place to stay. Without the right care, stray dogs and cats frequently get sick and get hurt while they are  looking for food.

We think the following actions can be taken to resolve these problems:

1. Animal Welfare: They should Organize sessions for awareness.

2. Waste Management: Regular cleaning initiatives and the placement of trash cans in our community may help to cut down on littering.

3. Help for Stray Animals: In our area, a refuge for stray animals would guarantee that they had access to food, water, and medical attention.

With the hope that this letter will raise awareness of these issues, we ask for assistance in making the environment safer and cleaner for all living things. In order to mobilise the community and motivate local authorities to take action, we would appreciate it if you could publish our concerns. Your time and thoughtfulness are much appreciated.
