Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program (2024–25), applicants must meet the following detailed eligibility criteria:
- Applicants must be citizens of Pakistan or AJ&K.
- Applicants enrolled in the last year of their existing study programs or those awaiting results can apply.
- The minimum age criterion for the scholarship is 18 years. Eligible applicants are those born before September 1, 2007.
- Certificates, transcripts, and degrees must be attested by relevant authorities, such as the IBCC and HEC.
- IELTS and TOEFL scores are mandatory where required by the Hungarian side.
- Applicants must submit a medical certificate of satisfactory health condition, issued no earlier than November 1, 2024.

- Bachelor’s Degree (after 12 years of education):
Applicants must have completed HSSC/Intermediate or its equivalent for undergraduate programs before August 1, 2025.
In the event of failure to submit the final degree and transcript on the Stipendium Hungaricum portal before August 1, 2025, the candidature will be canceled.
- One-Tier Master’s Degree (after 12 years of education):
Like the requirements for bachelor’s programs, completion of HSSC/Intermediate or its equivalent is mandatory.
Failure to submit the final degree and transcript on the Stipendium Hungaricum portal before August 1, 2024, will result in the cancellation of the candidature.
- Master’s Degree (after 16 years of education):
Applicants must complete a 16-year bachelor’s or equivalent degree for postgraduate programs before August 1, 2025.
In the event of failure to submit the final degree and transcript on the Stipendium Hungaricum portal before August 1, 2025, the candidature will be cancelled.
- PhD Degree (After 17/18 years of education):
PhD program applicants must have completed a 17/18 years Masters/MS/MPhil degree or equivalent before August 01, 2025.
Failure to submit the final degree and transcript on the Stipendium Hungaricum portal before August 01, 2025, will result in the cancellation of the candidature.

Requirements
