The Formula Electric Racing-NUST Team from Pakistan Navy Engineering College, an esteemed constituent of the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST), left an indelible mark at the renowned Formula Student UK 2023 competition at Silverstone Circuit.
Amidst the fierce competition, this team emerged as the sole representative from Pakistan and the entire South Asian region in FS Class which is the main event, where teams compete with the cars they have designed and built.
With participation from over 100+ teams worldwide, Formula Electric Racing-NUST demonstrated exceptional dedication and skill, achieving commendable rankings across various events in the competition.
One of the standout achievements for the team was securing the 5th position in the Cost Event out of 100+ teams.
Formula Electric Racing NUST was the only team from Pakistan and the entire South Asian region to become the finalist of the Cost Event.
Their focus on cost-effective solutions and meticulous financial planning propelled them to the forefront.
The team’s unwavering commitment to technical proficiency and adherence to safety regulations led to a commendable 10th position in the LTS (Lap Time Simulations) Event, 41th in the design event.
Formula Electric Racing NUST’s talent wasn’t limited to technical skills alone. In the BPP (Business Plan Presentation) Event, they displayed their business acumen and strategic thinking, securing an impressive 9th position.
The culmination of their remarkable performance across various events resulted in securing an impressive 22nd position overall in the FSUK competition. This achievement epitomizes their commitment and determination to shine on a global platform.
