The aim of Aga Khan University Scholarship is to provide enrichment, critical thinking skills, and scholarship opportunities for high school students.

The Aga Khan University – AKU Challenge (Scholarship) Programme for HSSC students wants students to be part of it. Join in, take on interesting academic challenges, explore tricky subjects, and learn important life skills. Besides getting smarter, participants will check out the many different academic programs at Aga Khan University and see what it’s like on the lively AKU campus.

The two-week residential program does not charge a tuition fee. The University covers the cost of boarding and lodging. Eligibility criteria

Those eligible to apply for the Aga Khan University – AKU Challenge (Scholarship) Programme are individuals following any national system of education in Pakistan or registered with the AKU Examination Board. To be considered, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Attained a minimum of 80% in the Secondary School (SSC) / Matric examinations, regardless of the chosen group (Science, Commerce, Humanities, and Arts).
Anticipate completing the Higher Secondary School (HSSC) examinations in the year 2025.

Required documents

The following documents are required for the application:

A clear photograph displaying the applicant’s full face (no selfies or party pictures).
Secondary School Certificate (SSC) mark sheet.
College ID card or Enrollment Card.
B-form or National Identity Card.
Application fee payment receipt or Acknowledgement email received from the AKU Finance Office.

Deadline

Please ensure to complete and submit your online application before the deadline on April 18, 2024.

How to apply

To apply for the programme, follow these steps:

Complete the online application.
Upload the required documents, including a clear photograph, SSC mark sheet, College ID or Enrollment Card, B-form or National Identity Card, and proof of the Rs 1,000 application fee payment.
Pay the application fee using the provided banking details or online. Choose “Medical College – Pakistan” as the entity and enter “AKUCSP2024” as the purpose.
If you encounter any issues with payment acknowledgment, inform the Finance Office by emailing at student.finance@aku.edu.

Note:

The application fee is non-refundable.
Admit cards for the AKU Challenge Test will be emailed.
All communication will be through email, so make sure you have a valid functional email address.
