Universitas Sebelas Maret UNS Scholarships Indonesia invites students to pursue bachelor, master, and doctoral degrees at the UNS.

Benefits of Universitas Sebelas Maret UNS Scholarships Indonesia

UNS offers financial benefits to selected international students. The Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) scholarship includes two types:

Full Scholarship:

Tuition fee waiver
Monthly living allowance
IDR 1,000,000 for the bachelor’s program
IDR 1,250,000 for the master’s program
IDR 1,750,000 for the doctoral program
Free Indonesian language course
Student residence (sharing room)
Breakfast meal at the student dormitory

Partial Scholarship:

Tuition fee waiver
Free Indonesian language course

Important information

A limited number of students in the Faculty of Medicine or Medical Sciences are eligible for Universitas Sebelas Maret UNS Scholarships Indonesia; however, it is open to all programs.

Students will also be responsible for their other expenses including airfare, visas, accommodation, meals, transportation, health insurance, and personal expenses.

The Universitas Sebelas Maret UNS Scholarship Indonesia is a subsidy and may not bare all expenses. Students should have additional financial support.

Self-Funding Program

If you want to study at UNS through self-funding, you will be responsible for all the expenses. UNS does not provide financial assistance for this program. The application process is similar to the scholarship scheme.

Eligibility Requirements for Universitas Sebelas Maret UNS Scholarships Indonesia

To be eligible for the scholarship applicants must:

Not hold Indonesian citizenship.
Show a strong interest in studying at UNS.
Be willing to attend an interview via video call.
Not have refugee status.
Not having a criminal record.
Have financial support
Submit all required documents.

Language Requirements

Applicants must prove English proficiency with a TOEFL certificate (450 for natural science programs and 500 for social science programs) or equal scores in other academic English tests. Selected students will need to complete an Indonesian language course.

Responsibility of the Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Scholarships Awardee

Scholarship recipients must:

Follow Indonesian laws, university regulations, and other rules.
Attend all lectures and academic activities.
Maintain a minimum GPA.
Complete their studies on time.
Follow the additional regulations specified in the scholarship agreement.

Terms and Conditions of the Universitas Sebelas Maret UNS Scholarships Indonesia

The Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Scholarship is granted for a specific number of semesters. If students cannot complete their studies within this period, they will be responsible for paying the tuition fee. The Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Scholarship may be ended if the recipient doesn’t meet the GPA requirements or violates university and Indonesian law regulations. If a student resigns from UNS, they must return the Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Scholarship funds.

To Apply for the Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Scholarships applicants should:

Download the Letter of Offer.
Choose a study program.
Prepare the required documents.
Visit the Indonesian Embassy or Consulate General to request a recommendation letter.
Create an admissions account and submit all documents online.
After providing the required documents, save and print the registration card.
Go through administrative selection, a computer-based test, and an interview.
A letter of acceptance will be given to the selected applicants.
Confirm your intention to study at UNS.
Proceed with study permit and student visa applications.
Arrive at UNS upon receiving notification.

Start of studies: August 2024
