Pakistani students who don’t have a lot of money can still attend college because of USAID. Through the Merit and Needs-Based Scholarship Program (MNBSP) Phase-I, they have been awarding scholarships since 2004. Students who desire to study fields like agriculture and business would benefit from this. It cost $10.63 million and assisted 1,807 students at 11 significant universities in Pakistan.

USAID began the program’s Phase II in 2013. They paid $23.1 million for it. Half of the additional 3,000 scholarships are for female students. The program now works with 30 universities, 19 of which are public.

By collaborating with institutions specifically for girls, such as Lahore College for Women University, they also support the education of girls.

More courses are now covered in the program, including engineering, medicine, nursing, and social sciences. To help people learn how to manage things more effectively, training and workshops are also provided in Phase II.

They also help students with employment preparation and job knowledge. Additionally, they are developing a group of former students.
