Schwarzman Scholars is a prestigious program designed to address the challenges of the 21st century and beyond. Inspired by the renowned Rhodes Scholarship, which dates back to 1902, Schwarzman Scholars aims to foster international understanding and peace through education.
Number of Scholars
Each year, up to 200 Scholars are chosen from the United States, China, and other countries worldwide to embark on a transformative journey.
Degree
The program offers a one-year master’s degree in global affairs at Tsinghua University in Beijing, which holds the top rank in Asia and serves as a critical hub for China’s political, business, and technological leadership.
Selected Scholars have the incredible opportunity to immerse themselves in Beijing’s vibrant culture and engage in a year of intensive study and personal growth. They attend lectures, explore the region, and gain a deeper understanding of China’s rich heritage and global influence.
